      I have waited several weeks before submitting this review so I could be sure these secateurs were not the injury inflicting finger severing implements as implied by a previous reviewer who actually called himself a Professional Gardner! Well I am no professional in fact I”m barely amateur however I”ve had a fair amount of experience using secateurs and all I can say is like any sharp implement if you are stupid enough to place a finger where you shouldn”t it will harm you. That said I have all but eradicated an out of control Ivy hedge among other general pruning tasks and the last time I looked I still have all my fingers. Very nice sharp secateurs which I would recommend!
