      So I thought this may be a better choice for a poultry shears than the last two Ive had that broke while removing chicken backbone. I make roast chicken “spatch cocked” frequently. so I needed a reliable. easy to use set of shears to remove the backbone. My Wusthof shears didn’t last a year (less than 25 uses). and I paid a significant amount for them. Dr. G uses a pair of gardener loppers to cut through human ribs to expose the chest cavity. so this seemed like it may do the trick. and for far less money than what I had..So far. so good!
