I would like to say that they are super easy to install straight. You can simply remove it quickly to adjust it before it completely sets. The downside to it is that if you knick it anywhere along the edges it will just crack straight through. I understand it’s tempered glass but I’ve used other screen protectors and they just make dents without cracks. so I’m not 100% sure on what’s different but there is a difference.

I’ve used several Jtech screen protectors in the past for phones. kindles and now my switch. They’re reliable. and work well. and have saved my phone on several occasions lol so I’m hoping the same will be true for my switch. It was easy to install. and doesn’t effect the screens colour or brightness.

My younger sibling likes to borrow my switch. She’s not particularly rough with it and hasn’t dropped it. but she’s also not very careful with it and often leaves it lying around on messy tables. in bed. on a chair. etc. I found it cracked when she fell asleep with it in her bed. Luckily. only the protector took the damage and the real screen was left unharmed..I think this screen protector is good for pressure if someone accidentally sits on it or something. But I would get a case if you are worried about drops.
