      I gave up on my Apple TV since the TV was consistently lagging behind the computer. and the picture was crappy at best. I had had it for several years. and before that I connected with another company’s cable that gave out–no longer had a tight fit with the thunderbold port..First. I liked the tight fit of the cable into the Thunderbolt port. You didn’t have to force it. but it was a tight connection. Also the fitting at this end of the cable really helps you to both plug and unplug it..The TV picture was possibly better than I get from my cable company. In any case. it was excellent. We’ll see about durability. although I plan to just leave my laptop plugged in. But first impressions are *****.

      I’ve used this cable for 5 months and have not encountered any issues. Great value and reliable. what else can you ask for?

      Plugged it into the Thunderbolt port on my 2015 Macbook Air and the HDMI port of my 1080 Toshiba TV and it instantly connected and displayed the screen image. Note that there is a very slight cut-off of the far left and far right side of the image on the TV screen when compared to the Mac but its not really an issue.

      I ordered 3 of these to go from three screens that only have HDMI connectors to a 3 port display adapter. The only gripe with the ordering process is that I was initially restricted to 2 per order so I had to submit 2 orders on separate days but other than that the delivery was fast and problem free. The adapters work perfectly and clip in to the display adapter easily. The screens are recognised and Windows sets the optimal resolution without hassle unlike if you use an HDMI to DVI adapter in which case it sets the resolution to a ridiculously low level. These are well made and problem free so far…
