      I’m a little sad that I can no longer system control my volume on my Macbook Pro mid-2012 (i.e. using the volume buttons on the keyboard to control sound). but it’s not really this cable’s fault and I can just deal with that by controlling individual app volume or my monitor’s. Fair warning for those using a similar setup to me.

      Worked straight out of the box for an 2009 old macbook pro as well as a newer refurbished 2017 mac air. I use this for a second monitor to spread out my browsers and documents; makes my computer work flow so much more manageable. Would buy this product again if I had need of one.

      Pretty good cable it supports up my 34 inch ultrawide monitor running up to 2560 x 1920 at 60hz. Minimal packaging to save the planet. Nothing else really bad about it’s a good product!
