I bought this with the intent of connecting an iMac to an external monitor. It does everything that is stated in the description. Would recommend.

I bought a monitor AOC U2879VF. I used an HDMI cable to connect it to my macbook but I wasn”t unable to upscale to have a better quality until I found online that and Display port is the best option with a 4 monitor. It works smoothly and the quality is brilliant. I recommend this cable. Super quick delivery and nice quality.

High quality. I was pleasantly surprised when the package insert gave me instructions to register my product for the lifetime warranty. First time for this old techie I have ever registered a cable!! I built my own version of a sit stand desk which I have used for several years. My original cable started showing signs that it needed replacing (the screen would flicker and go blank when I raised or lowered the arm). This cable fit snuggly and all the flicker is gone. [Note: the glare around the plug into my MacBook Pro is because I left the plastic shrink wrap on]

Works as described plugged my laptop into a 1080p monitor with no issues

Overall this has been an excellent cable purchase as the connectors I had previously are now worn out and flimsy buying these cables did it for me right away.Strong and sturdy fit specially on the mini dp even on my old clevo laptop. The only thing I started wondering is how reliable would the shielding be for these however they”ve been working for about a week now without any signs of any issue with 1080p@60Hz.

Needed this for my VR setup and it worked fine. Is there really much more to say about a cable? Well I mean the gold plating did look cool.

If you have an older MacBook Pro Mac Mini MacBook Air etc that has the mini display port get THIS cord to connect to higher resolution external monitors displays. Example: my mid 2012 MacBook Pro can only do 4K at 30 hertz with HDMI. BUT it does 4K at 60 hertz which is noticeably way smoother.

I use this cable to take the signal from my computer mini-DP to my 32″ screen DP. I used another manufacturer and the material was too rigid. Any little twist of the cable and I lost my signal to my 32″ screen (“No Signal” got displayed until the cable was adjusted just perfectly). I switched to the more flexible Rankie version of the mini-DP to DP cable and I don”t have this problem anymore. Who has time for distractions?

Needed a mini-DP to DP cable for my MacBook pro 2015 in order to use the full resolution of a Dell 2560×1440 monitor. This cable was inexpensive and working well so far.
