      These do data transfer and that is a big plus–many of the cords & adapters out there for the mini-usb devices like Android are charging-only.Nothing is more frustrating than needing to move data off your phone or hook it to your car’s USB for using maps etc and finding that the cord doesn’t have the pins to support data transfer. Fortunately these are the real deal and very sturdy too.

      I purchased these cables in December of 2018. As the Belkin cables I had previously purchased died one by one I replaced each with one of these. They are all still working fine none of them bent or stretched in any way. I treat all my cables the same so it’s the craftsmanship that makes the difference. I’ve had no issues with data transfers or slowness of charging or anything like that. Honestly I didn’t realize how crappy Belkin cables were until I started using these.

      If you have ever had your cable tear or fray these cables are great replacement. The braided nylon on the outside of the cable makes them super durable.
