      I live in Scotland where it rains a lot. and I used a tote bag to carry my laptop in. The tote bag gets soaked but this keeps my laptop dry. I also accidentally dropped my laptop multiple times with this case and it survived.

      I bought this to travel by air. so I could carry my laptop in my backpack. This held my laptop securely and fit in snugly. The outside pocket held my mouse pad. The mouse and wire were packed into backpack separately.

      Wondeful product for your MacBook. Very nice material and will protect your laptop when you’re travelling and have it inside a bag..I do believe at some degree this product is water proof but don’t expect it stop a spilled beverage inside your bag from getting into this cover. It will seep through and get to your laptop so be warned.
