I figured these would be cheap. But much to my surprise the are quality stainless steel with a nice mirror finish. They are dishwasher safe however I suspect you will lose the mirror finish by putting them in the dishwasher.

If you’re looking for a drain strainer for a standard size kitchen sink this is the product to get. Easy to clean fits perfectly and well made. I purchased 2 sets because normally these don’t last long but this product is exceptional and I gave the other set to my sister.

Much better choice than the wire mesh in my opinion. The mesh rusts and falls apart. This design seems easier to clean and I won’t get stabbed by loose pieces of metal wire.
