The last set of strainers I had were the mesh type and my wife and I were cutting our fingers and shredding kitchen sponges on the mesh. These are well made with no sharp edges anywhere. I”m going to order more for the sinks in my basement.

Excellent item. I used a different kind for several years and fought with them non stop to keep them in place to clean them and keep the flange straight so particles wouldn”t slide under. All those headaches were eliminated with these new strainers! Don”t waste your money on others.

I have used mesh strainers in my kitchen sinks for years and they get ugly and misshapen very easily and no longer keep food from going down the sink. When I got an email with these on sale I decided to try them because they looked more sturdy and attractive and they were a great price for a set of 3 (I have 3 sinks in my kitchen). They turned out great. They fit very well and don”t allow food down the drain. They are sturdy and shiny stainless and look much better than the mesh ones. Any they were a great deal.

Great kitchen sink drain strainer. Fine mesh catches the small stuff; easy to pluck out and dump the contents into the insinkerator. Shiny stainless looks great. Previous strainers had holes that were too large and couldn”t catch enough debris; they also doubled as sink stoppers and would constantly drop the plug when I didn”t want them to; with this strainer I just pull it out and use my sink stopper when necessary. And the three pack gives me back ups though the first one is still going strong for me.
