      Well built. Simple to install just drop it in. Fits my standard stainless steel sink perfectly. Perforations seem just the right size to block food boogers without impeding water flow. Best of all it”s heavy enough to keep water flow from lifting it up at the edges so it doesn”t allow debris to sneak under the rim neither does it prevent the sink from draining completely. Much easier to clean than mesh-style strainers and looks much better too.

      This solved a long standing problem with our sinks. The sink drain covers were always in the way and never working as a filter for things going down the drain. These filters are very good quality and look like they will stand up to years of use. They fit in the sink drain (I think it was 4.5″ at widest) without problems and exactly match the diameter of the drain opening. The outer edge sits inside the slight depression in the sink before the drain and therefore are about level with the bottom of the sink. It does not hold any water back when draining. They don”t move around very much – the inside basin is smaller than the drain itself which allows movement of the filter if needed. They also allow water to drain without backing it up. If pieces are smaller than the holes they will go down the drain (which we don”t want since we have a septic system) but they are pretty small pieces and probably not a problem.Only complaint is that there are 3 of them. You can buy 3 for $.50 more than buying another brand of 2. Selling 2 would make more sense for a reduced price.

      Something as simple as a sink drainer made me happy. I have gone through many. The kind with the plunger that you turn one way to close and the other way to enable the water to drain while keeping anything else from going down and possible clogging your drain. The plunger part never worked right got slimy and everything backed up. I had another mesh one but it would clog up not letting the water down and sat inside the drain making it hard to get out. These are the best! Easy to pick up and lets the water drain while keeping out those potential drain clogging pieces. Simple!

      There is nothing not to like about this product! This strainer is heavy duty in stainless steel and so durable I expect it will last forever. It catches any particle that gets in the sink. When you dump your dish water or run the faucet the strainer stays down so nothing gets down the sink. It also looks great & is easy to clean!! An amazing product!!!
