Photographically looked like a good design & and appeared well manufactured. Turns out it is a very good design as the sink food particles do not need much effort to skip over the strainer’s beveled edge & into the basket and it is well manufactured.

Having purchased a couple at a major discount store which I had to toss the next day because they started to rust I decided to give these a try to keep food scraps from clogging up the kitchen drain (I do have a disposal but the drain pipe will still get clogged with food scraps). So far it’s been about a week and they are exposed to water and wet a good part of the day and I have seen no rust. I like how easy they are to clean out because they are solid not mesh and they fit really well over the drain holes so they trap a lot of food debris. A good value!

Good for drain but you need an opening deeper than 1 1/4" if you have across bar in the drain pipe or it won’t sit flush on the sink drain.

Ordered these as replacement. Previous ones were made of screen. They always looked dirty even after running through dishwasher. But these are shiny clean looking. A great addition recommend highly. Fits well and keeps food in my sink and not down the drain.

Absolutely perfect! Tried several different ones from the big box stores and they plugged up quickly wouldn’t sit right in the sink weren’t easy to clean etc. These are great! They catch all the food but still allow water to easily glow through. The wide metal band on the rim covers the drains perfectly. Easy to pull out and dump. Wash right up and stay shiny. I have a triple basin sink so having 3 strainers in a pack was awesome.
