      I have never used a screen protector for any of my phones. but for the new iPhone I decided to buy one. I am so happy I did! Few days ago I dropped my phone and the screen hit a sharp metal corner. Half of it shattered. I kept it on and immediate repurchased the screen protector. Yesterday I removed the shattered one to see the damage. I was pretty sure that the screen wasn’t able to withstand the drop. but it did! Not a single scratch. If it wasn’t for this screen protector. I would be looking to buy a new phone.
