Got this for my mom who is 77 and just got her first iPhone (an SE) after years on a flip phone– she insisted on having a clear case so she can see the pretty white of her phone. This one fit the bill perfectly with it’s existing good ratings and super-cheap price (some cases nowadays are SO expensive!).

This case is really great! I was a little skeptical about the quality of this case because of the cheap price as well as some customer reviews but so far for me this case hasn’t broken/cracked. ( I’ve had this case for about 2-3 months). I’ve read several customer comments saying that the gold case is more of an orange color in real life. I personally think it depends on the way you hold your case in relation to light. When you hold it up to the light it looks more orange but it looks gold from the side view. I don’t personally mind however that is something to consider if you do care about the color of the gold case. All in all this is a great cheap case that has held up for me (I’ve dropped my phone several times).

It lasted almost a year before the back separated from the bumper. Otherwise the case is what I wanted: clear thin minimalist and protected the phone when I dropped it a few times. Going to try a different "brand" and see how that one holds up.
