      The plastic guide makes it much easier to install.However the guide is reusable and should work on any protector for the same phone. So you could buy one and the use the guide with protectors from other manufacturers.

      The guide makes it easy to install. I would give 5 stars but the edge of the screen does not sit on the glass properly in that the outside edge (less than 1/8 inch) is not stuck to the phone screen.

      The screen protector lays flat and does not encompass the rounded corners which is what I was looking for. My kids have the rounded screen protectors and then tend to crack on the rounded edges.
