      The screen is protective and does not hinder the touch screen at all. but the privacy portion could be darker — when you look at it from the side it more “blurs” things rather than blacking the screen out… and it is juuuust slightly too small — there is a sliver on each side that is not covered that takes some getting used to… (I have an iPhone 7 plus)
