    Hopefully no one buys this case with the expectation that it will last for the life of their phone its a budget case. I usually buy my girlfriend a new clear case for her iPhone every year for her birthday. During that one year however it withstands MANY drops and dings. In combination with a cheap screen protector her screen wont get a single crack. It is now about 6 months from the purchasing date and aside form a few stress cracks in the corners of the case and the beginning of some yellowing its looks great.

    This case is not waterproof but its very protective. I replaced a $60 pelican case with this one and I like it better. Fits better in my pocket and I think it offers just as much protection. Clear case is a bonus: when you have the light on the case somehow expands/diffuses the light more almost like a night light. I can turn light on place phone light down and still get a night light type affect.
