Having owned an iPhone 7 for 6 years. when the iPhone 14 was released. I knew it was time to upgrade and that I needed to sell my phone. However. even after careful usage. the case I had used had a big open area at the back where the camera lenses are (a common theme for phone cases) meaning the metal surrounds of the lenses accumulated dirt and scratches over the years from normal wear & tear..I did not even know these types of camera lens protectors existed. so knowing I’ll be selling this phone in around 5 years. it was imperative that I take measures NOW to ensure the camera area is protected and got this item ordered..Installation was incredibly easy – I first removed my phone case. used a normal screen wipe (not included) to clean up the already-accumulated dirt. and then buffed it all with the included microfibre cloth. After that. I just unpeeled the lens protector from the sticky pad and applied it. A very nice satisfying snug fit!.Popped the phone case back on and was done within a minute..This lens protector has been designed to be as tight fit as possible so that it works with most cases – I had no issues at all with my iBlason AresMag case. the lens protector felt like part of the case..Highly recommended even if you do not plan to sell your phone. it helps protect the lens from scratches which will happen if you ever put your phone in your pocket with keys. change and other things that could damage glass.

Today’s iPhones aren’t just expensive. they’re expensive to repair. An iPhone 14 Pro if you allow the back plate’s glass to shatter is going to set you back $700 plus tax for an authorized repair (around $200 for third party if you want that but may void Bring It Back plans). Camera lenses aren’t impervious to damage either. so for the price of a lens protector it makes sense to add that to your arsenal of case and screen protector. This one is easy to install. just make sure if you use the moist wipe that it’s completely dry otherwise you’ll get fogging which is hard to get rid of. Once on. pics look the same. no distortion to any of the three lenses. Very happy with this purchase.
