      My OEM cover from Apple. which covers just the screen and attaches with a magnetic hinge. was starting to fall apart. I couldn’t bring myself to shell out another fifty bucks. as the iPad itself is aging and might be due for replacement soon. This cover snaps into place perfectly. Unlike the Apple cover. this one covers the edges and back of the iPad. too. That may be good if you are worried about keeping your iPad pristine. but it creates some minor issues.

      Very simple case that protects the back and covers the front. This is not a case for you if you want 360 degree protection from drops because the cover cannot be clasped closed. I like that the case is slim. the iPad goes to sleep mode when the cover is closed and the cover can be tri-folded back to make a simple stand for the iPad.
