Bought this to protect a brand new ipad a year ago since the Covid induced distance learning started. My kid dropped the ipad yesterday and was absolutely distraught that the screen of the ipad was broken. Instead it was just the protector that shattered and not a scratch on the screen. A new screen costs $700. this one costs $13. No brainer really!!!.It did its job perfectly. The screen protector broke. but the ipad was perfect (do note. we also use a protective case for the ipad which makes it bulky). The screen protector never cause any issue w.r.t visibility or w.r.t touch screen functionality. It is perfectly designed to keep it just barely short of the edges so that that the protective case can engulf the ipad. Together they saved us $700 and saved a massive grief to my child..A must buy. especially if you let your kids handle it! Be proactive in protecting your expensive items. Sooner or later everyone drops and gravity wins!

Great screen protector. just make sure your iPad screen is absolutely clean. the smallest piece of dust will leave a small bubble spot. I had to peel it back several times and use the provided dust remover sticker to get all the little spots out.
