      A good value cover that looks much more premium than its price may indicate. I got mine in black. the case is made of a black shiny plastic and the cover a silky matt black material on the outside and a soft grey material on the inside. The case fits the iPad tightly. the cover closes neatly (the magnets also wake the iPad on and off) and the Apple pencil sits in Its customary position unhindered. The stand holds firm in both its high and low positions..Yes . the Apple Pencil is not protected and there is no protection over the buttons but I wanted something simple and lightweight to provide a bit of protection to the IPad if dropped and this case meets my needs.
