I bought this cover to protect my new iPad Pro before I bought my Apple Magic Keyboard. I still use it when I dont have my keyboard attached to protect it from scratches. In comparison. the magnets are about 75% the strength of the much more expensive Apple keyboard. but that is sufficient for regular use. I still have yet to have this cover come off without actually trying. Testing its limits over my bed. it will stay attached in a vertical position a lot better issue you start shaking it. It does come off much easier in a horizontal position. Something the Apple Keyboard will not do. You actually have to pry your fingers underneath the keyboard to release the iPad. Therefore. I would not carry it or lift this case by the flap. especially over hard surfaces like tiles. The little flap that covers the pencil is a great feature and really helps hold the pencil in place when in transit. If you use a pencil. I would definitely purchase this one over the regulars case. So far after a few weeks. I would still recommend it. Will see how it holds up to longer use. Hope it helps!

This a simple low profile case. It does the job of protecting the screen while maintaining the low profile nature of the iPad. Love it.
