      I bought this as the replacement for the original cover I bought when purchasing the iPad new 4+ years ago. This is the exact cover as the first one because of how well it protected my iPad. The first one broke on the edge after a drop on the corner of the tablet. but without damaging the tablet. Over the years. I have dropped the tablet a few times. and the cover has protected it completely. As a matter of fact. my tablet looks new coming our of the cover when placing in the new one. The sleep function does not work for me. but it does not matter to me. so no problems. I just us the button on the tablet. This new one does come with a lifetime warranty. so I did register this one. but I believe I will replace the tablet before this cover breaks. so do not believe I will need to use the warranty.

      This is the second case that I have had. Bought the first one when I bought the iPad. It lasted 5 years and. if my iPad will last another 2 – 3 years. I shouldn’t need to purchase another one.
