      I would recommend this if it is on sale..1) The color is accurate. I got exactly what I see from the picture..2) It has a shell that protects the corner. I dont think it is fair to say it doesnt protect it if you see a crack after dropping it to the floor. but I think its better than those soft cases..The drawback is that it is heavier than those cheaper cases. but it is not much thicker. which is good.

      Bough new iPad air 3rd gen recently and gave this one a go. It works good and doesnt disappoint. I was skeptical if the price will justify its quality however it turned out to be good.

      Seems sturdy and fits perfectly. The back is hard plastic and the front panel is the usual 3 section folding stand covered in a washable flexible plastic and backed in felt to protect the screen. The cutouts are nice and big and do not interfere with any plug in cables. Speakers have cutouts rather than a series of holes so the sound is not muffled. Very pleased overall.
