   It fit my gen 2 iPad mini perfectly. I had the Apple leather one for a very long time before it finally failed. This one fits differently. There is nothing covering the buttons and the connectors are clearly accessible. The speakers are more open than on my previous one. I worried it might slip out but it did not. Still I took the precaution of some double-sided tape on the iPod’s back to be safe. My only complaint is the back is a bit slippery and difficult to hold in one hand. FOr the price it is a good option.

    Great case for the iPad mini I have read the reviews about the case edges breaking And the iPad slipping out of the case but so far mine has been perfect and the plastic edges around the case seem very strong maybe the have made the edges stronger on the case ?

    Its a nice little sturdy cover. It works well with shutting the screen down so my battery lasts longer. Dont let kids with greasy fingers touch it their prints are on there forever they wont wipe off. But it does its job with or without greasy hand marks.
