   The old cover to the Ipad mini had a magnetic cover that did not stay on very well and ultimately tore. It only covered the front of the ipad. This cover has a tray that the ipad mini slips in and the ipad mini is covered front and back.

   It does what I am expecting I wanted the top cover to be separate and not joined on the hinge but that is a minor issue. Its sturdy and protects my iPad well

    I bought this to replace my old cover for my Ipad Mini 2. Fits like a glove. Love the clean surface and how neatly it folds. Although it slants very well when folded and placed on a hard surface in landscape mode (ideal for watching movies etc) it stands too upright in portrait mode when I want to read my book on Kindle making it difficult to read when placed on a hard surface. I would have to hold it with my hand to read well. Thats my only dissatisfaction but besides that I gave 5stars for its design and functionality !

    Really like the case. Holds up well. Occasionally seem to show fingerprint smudges and I’ve gotten something on the inside felt cover that I can’t seem to clean off. Otherwise really like it

    Great case. Had it for 3 years and finally gave the ghost. Sleep function worked great. Dropped many times on hard surfaces. For a lil case that doesn’t supposedly protect much it protected mine every time. Satisfied totally.
