      Hard cover but the rubber on the front and back has a nice soft feel. Has a felt like material that covers the screen. Magnet is a good strength and holds strong when the cover is being used to stand the mini upright. The indentations for the volume and power are a little deeper than my old one but it prevents any accidental pressing.

      I have used the case for my iPad mini now for about two months. I like the on-off feature that prevents my using the battery of my iPad needlessly. It’s small simple to use and has features of more expensive covers. It can be wiped clean easily. I consider it a great value and good quality for my needs.
