      I have an iPad mini 2 and this case fits perfectly. Maybe modifications have been made to this case recently? I had no issues popping my iPad into this case. It does the job. I bought light blue but now I’m wondering how long it will take for this case to look dirty. Hopefully it will hold up!

      It works. the old one from when the iPad was made would no longer hold the iPad correctly. this one holds it correctly easy to put on the iPAD. seems to turn off the iPad when you close. I got the black one. I was a little concerned about some bad reviews but this particular one I got works fine. If anything the plastic clips are slightly thicker than the original case from the Apple store. so maybe it will be more durable.
