basic cover that has a plastic back and a soft cover that sleeps the ipad. fits perfectly the ipad air2 that is the 6th gen iPad. Ipad 5 being the 7th gen . this model has a very particular form factor so it wont fit other models . cover has microfiber inlay so it doesn’t scratch the screen. its a bit flimsy trying to use the ipad vertically

This replaced my old one which didn’t have a plastic backing; just attached magnetically. I like this one much better and the price was reasonable.

It’s a nice cover. fits very well. BUT the material of the back is kinda porous and you can see all fingerprints like you always have greasy fingers. Maybe it’s not important for everyone but it is annoying for me.

The only thing I don’t like about this case is the back isn’t open to help dissipate heat. I had one similar to this one and the cover hinge tore from stress of open/close cycles. This case’s cover is exactly the same material and hinge design. However. its cheap enough that it can be replaced.

As my iPad Air2 is already 7 years old (but still working well!). accessories like the smart covers are no longer stocked by local dealers. Thankfully. they are still available via . It arrived in a nice protective packaging and the smart cover fits my iPad Air2 and works as advertised! I am more than happy with this purchase!

My original cover/stand was falling apart after all these years and this is a more than capable replacement..It lets me hold off on a new ipad. so i am happy about that.

Theres really nothing bad to say about it. Its a simple design and super easy to install with just snapping it in place. Obviously the built in cover-stand stand makes it better too. the open to wake works perfect every time. just an all around good solid case!
