I had a soft vinyl cover on my iPad Air 2 previously. The edges would get frayed because of this. However. this case is plastic all the way. so no problem with staining or body oil retention. and the edges stay true and looking new. After years of iPad use. this is my new go to. Will replace my Pro case when I get around to it.

Three things stand out about this iPad case. First. it fits the iPad Air 2 exactly. The cutouts for the camera. 3.5 mm headphone jack. sleep/wake button. microphone. volume buttons. and speakers are all perfectly positioned; they are neither too large nor too small for their purpose. Second. the case’s smooth texture is quite pleasant to the touch and possesses just the right amount of “grippy-ness” so that one doesn’t fear that the iPad will suddenly slip out the hand. Third. the top cover folds in exactly the same way as the standard Apple iPad cover. producing the same viewing/typing angles. which I find quite satisfactory.

Great cover. but for some reason the screen turns off but the power still trickles down. The Apple cover is better for that reason. So. turn off the iPad with the top switch before closing and problem solved.

This was to replace a cover on my older ipad air2 that had started to split at the hinge. I can’t vouch for how durable this one will be. but it was very easy to clip the pad inside and the plastic seems quite resistant to fingerprints. So far. so good!
