Nice case other than this problem that may only effect a few. I have a gooseneck Lamicall tablet stand to elevate and position my iPad 5th generation over my drawing table. It uses clamps to hold the iPad in place. Unfortunately I had to return this case because. when open. the cover edge extends beyond the edge of the iPad meaning the clamp can only grip the edge of the case. leaving the iPad itself not gripped and in an unstable condition when mounted in a horizontal position. Back to my old Speck case with the clasp that keeps the case locked in place whether open or closed.

I bought this for its light weight for my bad wrists. It certainly felt lighter than other covers I’ve tried. However. there were two negatives:.1. I could never get the grooves to hold the ipad up in either position. so I just gave up..2. The construction would be better if the side connecting the back to the front were the entire length. The cutouts on the top and bottom made it unstable and annoying when folding it back and holding it with my hands..If this had been a heavier cover. I would have given only 3 stars.
