      I was using an obnoxious-colored Apple case of similar design. The Apple cases are made of better material but they cost $50. And the bottom part where the iPad is placed in is a nice plastic with this case where Apple’s is a soft material. The firm plastic is superior for holding on.

      This is like the old cover that I purchased from Apple several years ago. I had purchased the Apple new smart cover that attaches only to by magnet. It was a misery and expensive. I couldn’t find the old case/cover on the Apple website so I turned to and tried this. My only regret is that I didn’t look here first. Very pleased with this cover/case!
