      Easy to use and great value are the standout features.The accuracy seems to be in line with other devices I have but you do need to remember to multiply the displayed value by the emissivity value which is provided in the user manual. In other words the reading displayed may be slightly higher than the actual temperature of the object you are measuring.All in all a great tool to measure temperature without having to contact the item. It is also very quick so you get fast results.

      First off I have no clue why my husband ordered this; but my dog loves it. I can not tell you if it works well as a thermometer. If you have a dog who loves to chase the “red dot” then this thing is cool.

      Checked this products readings by our old floating temperature gauge and found it to be very accurate. It is very handy to use since you don”t have to pull it out of the water to get your reading. I recommend this product.
