      Review based on the price. For approximately $20 ca. it is an awesome buy if you need some temperature measuring device for around house. Good for checking walls. doors and such for drafts(cold spots and lack of insulation). Also would work as a starter tool for mechanic who needs a temp. gun but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. My only complaint is slight delay between activating and getting a temperature reading. Checked against our thermometer in kitchen and it was only about 1.5 degree difference. Definitely would buy again

      Use the product on my Blackstone to check the surface temperature. Very handy to do so with and pretty accurate. Good value for a non professional chef.

      It’s a little bit hard to tell the temperature and therefore how accurate it is. It takes a few seconds for the temperature to appear. Then. the longer I hold it over whatever I’m measuring. the temperature keeps changing. It only changes by a few degrees up or down. so it’s close to being accurate. But I’d like the temperature to stay steadier longer. especially when I’m cooking and the temperature has to be precise. But evidently it is close enough because when I cooked a dish that required a certain temperature. it came out OK. It has a large display that is very easy to read. Overall. I am satisfied with it and would recommend it.

      It is very easy to use and produces consistent readings. Don’t have test equipment to verify readings. but to me approximate but consistent reading is all I need.
