      Feels nice to hold. came with a battery and has options to turn off the laser and LCD screen back light. Works fairly fast. but I’m disappointed there’s no way to turn off the sound. The beeps are quite loud and extremely annoying

      I bought this thermometer to read the temperature on my new pizza oven. It works well. but the temperature fluctuates up and down a bit. I get the idea of approximately what temperature the oven is (it goes up to 900 degrees). It might say 435 then 415 then 465 a few times before I just shut it off. It would be better if it read a particular temperature and beeped.

      Easy to use and accurate on different surfaces that should have (and have) the same temperature. I used this to select the material for our new dock. Put the samples in the sun and measure the temperatures. And yes light colors are generally cooler but there are surprising differences in similar shades.
