      Temperature readings are all over the place.

      I use this to measure the temperature of my reptile enclosures and its perfect for dialling in the thermostats for bulbs/heat mats. Clear display live heat monitoring when trigger is held for measuring larger span areas and single temperature readings if just pressed once for spot checking single areas.

      I am human and I use it all the time! I guess it means not for use ON humans. It has a laser pointer so you should not fire it at things that have eyes – so that includes humans and pets and aeroplanes etc.I bought it for checking electronic components to ensure they don’t overheat.Having said that out of interest I have measured my temperature by firing it into my mouth.Word of warning though. Don’t leave it lying in the sun before use. It will be way off accurate if you do!

      Bought to read snake enclosures. And found this to be a god send.Seems to be very accurate and couldn’t see myself without it know.

      It does not give an accurate temperature reading. Error rate from 8-10% .So to get a correct reading you have to multiply the reading number shown by 1.09
