Helps makes the perfect Coffee !!!I bought mine to get the temperature of hot water between 90 and 96 degrees for a perfect coffee !!!”Coffee over 205 degrees Fahrenheit tends to over extract things from the grounds very easily producing bitter coffee. Water under 195 degrees has a difficult time extracting which often leads to sour underdeveloped coffee.”- So now you know !!!

This IR thermometer is so useful and I use it all the time for checking temperatures around the house including the fridge/freezer and the oven to see if it has heated up all the way. As well as being a useful too it is also fun to use the laser to play with my cat.It is really cheap and does its job very well so I definitely recommend!

For an inexpensive piece of equipment it seems to be made really well and I have no problem using it. I am really glad that I purchased this item.

I have a hot tub and ice bath-nice to know exactly what is going on with the temperatures.

Used for reading temps on wood burner pipes

Temperature readings seems pretty accurate and the tool is easy to use. I”m only subtracting a star because the laser was somewhat off center which made it hard to aim accurately past a few feet.

Helps if you understand a bit of physics- it”s all about emmisivity. My interests are sky watching- so the average cloud base comes in at + or – zero but a blue sky is -25c (should really be -270c but the atmosphere is still giving a kick back). Great for stuff around the house- find the cold spots next to windows and how bad your fridge is. And how your tv is overheating. And a built in lazer to keep the cats happy. What”s not to like?

I would have given this a 5-star review but it is lacking The Hanger that most of them come with so you can hang it on the wall. I am making one myself that will get the job done but it would have been nice if it came with the little string hanger at the bottom of it.

works great on outdoor pizza oven

Good item at a good price. Temp appears accurate but changes very easily depending on the type of surface. I think this is just the nature of these types of thermometers but ideal item for what I need it for (rebalancing heating system)
