      All I can say is it works. I didn’t use the audio port though. Be careful as this may switch your system sound settings to the monitor instead of the actual default speakers. After a while of not hearing any audio I realised that Windows detected the new monitor as an audio output device (but i wasn’t using the audio port on the cable). So I had to fiddle that back.

      Worka great. Had tried a DVI to VGA and it was awful. So thought I’d use the HDMI port and this adapter works perfectly!Damn sight cheaper than replacing a working monitor too

      Got this to give new life to an old projector with no HDMI input. No difference in image quality between the VGA cable and the HDMI adaptor.

      needed this to plug my xbox into my old monitor (as my xbox TV is out for repair) so i could change res from 1000dpi to 720dpi so i could use a older spare TV that only supports 720.Well worth the money!!!!
