   This case is good protection for my Galaxy Tab S8. There is a slot built in for the pen. and it folds up nicely. The texture of the outside case makes it easy to pick up and carry. but I wish I could personalize it more. I can’t put stickers on it. so the case just looks blah and bland in charcoal grey..The case opens like a book. and you can stand the unit up. but only in landscape mode. There are two shallow detents inside the cover to give the unit some support. but again. only in landscape. and only on a stable base. The detents are not enough to keep the thing from slipping if. say. you have it on your lap. or are trying to use it in a car or turbulent aircraft. If you want something hands-free to read your documents. books. comics. or web pages in portrait mode. keep looking — I find I have to hold the unit in order to use it for reading anything..The case also adds a bit to the weight of the entire unit. In my specific case. this poses a problem — I am a musician. and I store music on the S8 in a variety of formats. My traveling music stand can handle the weight of the S8 and my phone (which I use for recording). However. the additional weight of the case pushes it over the limit. which causes the stand to slowly sink..All that said. I like the thing — the protection it offers and storage for the pen outweigh the hassles it causes. It gives more value than it takes away at this point.

   It’s a fantastic case. but the plastic around the back of the charging port knocks the charging cable loose if you pick up or move the tablet. It’s no problem to plug back in. but it’s a very annoying flaw in an otherwise fantastic tablet case/cover..Everything else is perfect:.* Nice strong magnets that keep the case closed so it doesn’t accidentally open. they’re also positioned correctly so the tablet turns off the screen;.* It snaps on and off the tablet with ease;.* The stand portion has plenty of grip so the tablet doesn’t slip;.* The space for the pen makes sure the pen doesn’t rattle even if the case is shook while being really easy to remove(either by sliding the pen or using the cut out portion of the case to pull it free).

   This nice case a little basic but o guess you get what you pay for it will the S-pen is exposed so you use this be aware that there’s nothing keeping your S-pen connected to the back of your tablet except for the magnetic part and is not a very strong magnetic connection that s pen can easily fall off of there

    I needed a simple black cover for my tablet and it worked great at first. but then one of the magnets came loose and broke off from the cover. The grooves are also not deep enough to keep the tablet standing so occasionally it will slip and fall down out of nowhere.
