Honest Thoughts –
I love this case. I’ve had it for almost a year and cannot explain how many falls it protected my phone against. I also love the design of the back. with a slight groove underneath the fingerprint/camera hole cut out that provides my finger a perfect resting space to comfortably put my finger against the sensor. unlike other phone cases that jab into my finger or make me hold my finger at an awkward angle to the sensor..10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a basic black case. Warning. not fingerprint proof but easily wipeable.

I used to have waterproof cases that has screen protector too. They are good but they don’t protect the phone eventually and my rear glass panel is broken now. This one is simple. less bulky. easily slide in my jeans pocket. The problem with this case is that it’s quite slippery so I need to hold my phone stronger than before. but I hope I will get used to that. Overall. it’s a great priced case.

My son destroyed his S8. Went to trade in for a new phone. They only offered $40 because it was a S8. Was able to buy this as a stop gap before he upgrades to a new phone. It was in excellent cosmetic and working condition. Took 10 minutes to set up and swap in SIM card. He literally had it for 2 weeks and was walking with it in his hand like we told him a 100 times not to do. Tripped over a curb and face planted. We had put on a military grade case and screen protector. The screen protector shattered but the case did it’s job. Not even a scratch. He is so happy with it he may not trade it in for awhile.

Offers good corner and edge protection in a thin case that allows for wireless charging. not as tough or heavy as other leading brands. Combined with the JETech flexible screen protector you get good protection without the bulk.

My initial opinion of the JETech Shockproof Case for my Galaxy S9 is positive. The main cover is a semi-hard rubber material with a hard plastic outer shell that snaps onto the rubber case. This is a no frills two piece case that I look for whenever shopping for a new phone protector. This case imo is a good value and so far based on a few days use I would recommend it..Pros:.- Case fits the Galaxy S9 absolutely perfectly. very form fitting..- Case corners. top and bottom are higher than the front screen and back. Sides are lower than the screen..- No screen protector allows me to easily install a separate glass screen protector without any modification..- Buttons are responsive..- Mic. speaker. charge port and headphone jack cutouts are perfect and allow more than enough room..- Smooth. flat. hard back allows for accessories to be attached..- Texture on the sides give just barely enough grip to the phone..- The smooth back makes putting into pockets easy..- Not bulky or heavy..Cons:.- The side texture could use a little more grip..- No plugs or covers for ports. (I would suggest including soft rubber removable plug / port covers).- It’s a little difficult to remove case for inside cleaning. (This could be considered a pro to some but since the case is thin and form fitting I worry that over time the case may possibly break from repeated disassembling).If this case breaks or doesn’t protect my phone in the future. I will post a follow-up review.

I like the case. I like the design. it’s comfortable to hold. it’s simple. and I didn’t think I needed it until I got it. but I really like the design near the fingerprint scanner. the case is tilted so that your finger comfortably fits on the scanner. I didn’t have that on my previous case and I realised how good of a feature that is when I got it. One thing I will say. since it is a multi layer case. don’t put anything like money or a credit card behind it. because it will push one of the layers out if you leave it there for long. and it makes the case a little bit looser. It didn’t make a big problem tho.

I had an Otterbox case that was falling apart from use. This replaced it. It is not as soft as the Otterbox but itis thinner. I have dropped the phone a few times and it survived. so good. The buttons work much better than the Otterbox. I’m very happy with it for at least three more years. By then the phone will be obsolete.

Major gripe – the Hard PC layer clips onto the Flexible TPU so securely. it will not come off without breaking something (a clip. a corner. etc). While some may find this a good thing. if you need to swap SIM or memory cards. this is not a good thing..Minor gripe – where the two layers meet. the edges are sharp..But. beyond that. I cannot say anything bad about this case..- It is a “slim” case. therefore it won’t increase the size of the super thin phone you just bought..- It is protective (not that I drop my phone off of rooftops to test it out)..- The case allows access to the curved edges of the screen..- The case is ‘raised’ in just the right places to protect the screen..- The camera cutout does not show any glare when using a flash..- The fingerprint scanner is accessible (although. I do not use it)..- All port cutouts allow easy access. (But I can see that maybe certain brands of wires may be too large).- All buttons are secure. yet easy to use..- screen protector “friendly”.Bonus – the Flexible TPU isn’t a soft rubber like some others. It is sturdy enough to be used without the Hard PC layer. Which actually reduces the sharp edges I had mentioned above..Overall. if I was looking for another slim-fit case. I would feel confident buying this one again.
