      It does the job and fits perfectly. however it looks slightly different from the photo..It just looks really plasticky and cheap..The grip is fine for me and it fits better than the bookcase one I had for it. Hopefully it protects the screen cause I’m clumsy..When put screen side it is slightly lifted off the surface which is a good sign.

      Otter-box no longer makes a case/cover for the S8. This is just plastic case and no experience to date to learn how shockproof it is.

      This cover is just basically a sleeve that you slip your phone in. Soft rubber with a hard back cover..It’s good for me. If you want something very durable this might not be for you.

      The fit is perfect for my Samsung S8. It is hard material versus my previous cover which was soft rubber. So it is taking me a while to get used to the way it feels in my hand. Yet. I dropped the phone a few times and all is alright.
