i’m very happy with this case for my Kindle Fire HD 8 (10th gen) – it fits nicely – it’s lessened the psychological terror when dropping it – and i presume – the actual impact on the kindle.i had to get used to opening the cover to the right – but i realize it was done for a good reason – the speakers are on the left – and they are left free with this design – (if you don’t like that – just turn the kindle over and have auto-rotate set – most apps will open normally).the front cover folds almost naturally into a sturdy landscape oriented stand.there are no complaints that come to mind

Fits my Fire 8 hd well. and was not as expensive as the case. I am really pleased with it. The only downside is. it had to be in black!

Perfect. fits like a glove! Bit more expensive than the generic covers but this made to measure the Fire HD 8 is worth the extra few pounds..Love that the cover folds to produce a stand to hold the tablet upright in landscape mode to make watching videos hands free.

I’ve had a number of Jetech cases in the past and they’ve all been good. This is the same. but I agree that it does look like you have to hold it upside down. with the power and volume controls at the bottom if you want it to open conventionally. Not a problem though.

The case has a nice feel to it and does what it’s supposed to. When the case is closed and open it puts the Fire HD tablet into sleep mode and wakes it up. The only annoyance is that instead of opening up to the left it opens up to the right which is taking a lot of getting use to. Otherwise opening it normally all the buttons will be at the bottom of the case. Other than that i cannot fault it.
