I’ve made my own patch cables before but I decided to buy these for a network switch I bought for my game systems. I wanted to color coordinate my cables … blue for PS4 green for Xbox One and red for my Switch!! Yes it’s silly but it looks nicer and the cables work perfectly. I didn’t test actual speeds before or after since I never had any speed problems.
