      Bought this to connect a Samsung non HDMI monitor to a laptop with only a HDMI ouput. as the monitors only have DVI and VGA inputs..Had my fingers crossed it would work and it does perfectly..The cable is of a decent quality and the length matched what was stated. The connectors either end look solid enough to me and connected up as they should with no looseness or excessive stiffness.

      I used it to add a second display to PC. using Linux desktop. The refresh is a bit slower. but for my usage does not matter. Not for professional graphics. but for regular users delivers what is expected at a good price.
