      My computer only has a DVI port. so this is exactly what I needed. The build of the cable is high quality. plenty thick. Makes my 1440 monitor look twice as good compared to VGA. and I might be getting better framerate too. Good price and arrived quickly as well.

      It could just be me. or it could be this cable but when I insert it into my monitor. I only have the option for TV resolution of 480p on my Nintendo Switch. I don’t know why and never found a solution.

      Ordered this. received it the next day. plugged it in without issue. and .walla. it worked! It came in one of those sealed plastic zippered packages where the end is cut off and then the package may be reused. It is used to connect a monitor to a Rasperry Pi with a DVI connector.

      After luckily reading another review stating that one cannot use a laptop’s HDMI port to directly connect to a newer monitor’s display port; to use HDMI to the monitor’s DVI port. I purchased this cable…specifically DVI-I (displays both digital and analog signals). It seemed to be a good unit. I plugged it in. and all is working as expected. Build quality appears to be good as well.
