      Plugged it into the DVI socket of an old Edge 10 (1920×1080) monitor tobe able to plug the monitor into the HDMI port of my laptop. Just works and I’m typing this review while using the monitor. For some reason the purchase comes as a pair.I do not use the monitor for gaming or high quality video so I can’t say how it or the adapter will work with more challenging display requirements but for basic email and youtube use it is fine.

      The product feels solid this is not a flimsy adapter. A little hard to screw in.Be wary that it will make your cable’s connector longer than usual so take that into account. If the space is tight you might be better of with a DVI to HDMI cable instead of an adapter. This goes for all DVI to HDMI adapters.

      Solid great quality – I noticed one person commented on the lack of screw holes for ‘screwing’ it in – big deal it’s got textured brass knobs. By the way carries audio perfectly (DVI often does usually only on DVI-D as opposed to DVI-A) and the video and audio quality loss I expected to see here and there… none. I didn’t rate on durability as it would be a guess but my guess is – I think it would take a sledgehammer to make this stop working. Good job.
