      This DVI to DVI cable has saved my old monitor from the scrap heap (for the time being). The old HDMI port was dodgy and making the monitor whine like an angry mosquito – I thought I’d have to upgrade immediately. As I am slowly updating my PC set up. this was a possible spend that I could do without. Then I had the idea of trying the other connection that was compatible with my new GPU..I plugged the new cable in – no whining and perfect picture. What can I say? It was the instant. affordable update that I needed. As I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. I cannot speak for its durability – but as I do have a new monitor in my sights. this will not be a problem for me.
