I have a cheap tower with only one HDMI port and a wonky monitor that only supports DVI. This cord came fast. was long enough to reach my monitor. and kept my HDMI port free for other uses. Way cheaper than the store which wanted $30 for it.

HDMI is fine but the connections are easily displaced. DVI has a screw connection that keeps it in place
