      Initially got a bad unit (received open box). replacement came without issue and was new-in-box and worked fine. I get reliable video output from the device. monitor EDID is passed to the GPU. Everything works as expected at a very reasonable price.

      My sibling had just given me their Kamvas pen 13 graphics tablet. but it requires an HDMI port. which my second monitor was using. So I got this adapter in order to plug the second monitor elsewhere..Unfortunately. it doesn’t work. My sibling has been trying for over 30 minutes to make it work..At least now I’ve got this thing if I ever need (or can use) it..I like the little piece you push down on to remove it from the port. Prevents it from unplugging by accident!

      Picked this up 5 years ago and still works like day one. I just needed a converter for a secondary monitor that won’t be used for gaming or HD movie watching so i didn’t care if it was passive or active connection. Had no issues with it with my GTX 1060 or AMD 5700XT.

      I got this product to connect my old CRT monitor to my desktop. This adapter let me do so with no issues. I had to manually add in a 640×480 display mode via Custom Resolution Utility. but other video modes with different refresh rates were immediately available after installing the device. Plug and play as well.
