      I have a monitor with an HDMI and VGA connector only. my graphics card and motherboard didn’t support VGA connections. so I needed it converted to a DP(display port) for the purposes of using 2 monitors. I had it out of the box and running the 2nd monitor within 5-10 seconds. no real issues within a week of receiving the product.
